How to get the look:
Not everyone is as daring to try a completely OUT THERE colour on their lips, but what the hell are you so scared of? Here are some tips to get you started.
1# Stay away from colours that don’t compliment your skin tone. If you have red undertones to your skin opt for a blue-red lipstick, while if you’re like me and have yellow undertones, go for an orange red. I thoroughly recommend Russian Red by MAC.
2# Apply your lip colour to your lips the best way possible. Make sure you blot your lipstick after the first application, then reapply. Use a lip pencil colour close to that of your lips and blend, then using your lip brush apply the colour.
3# Start from the middle and work outwards, as a little goes a long way.
4# Keep the rest of your makeup simple (aka NATURAL). The worst thing you can do is OVER-DO your makeup, especially during the daytime. Don’t you just feel like walking around with makeup wipes and removing women’s makeup? No? Just me maybe…
5# Be confident. This is the only way you’ll pull off the look!
