Nailing It...

Metallic nails were on display at RAFW this year, so it's time we take another catwalk trend to the streets...

How to achieve the Metallic Look:

Step 1# Make sure nails have a base coat on them. This doesn’t mean use a product that says base/top coat in one. They complete two completely separate tasks. Splurge for two different products.

Step 2# Choose you metallic nail colour, I’m going with Nail Enamel in Copper Penny, which will go perfectly with tomorrow’s outfit.

Step 3# Apply the colour to nails, let it dry and then reapply. Be careful of leaving gaps on the nails. Apply colour to the edge and sides of the nail to complete your FAB look!

Step 4# Once the second coat has dried, apply your top coat to ceil and allow your colour to last longer.

Step 5 # It takes a full hour for your nails to dry completely. Ladies, let’s wait an hour before operating heavy machinery, aka...the GHD!

Here are my picks for metallic colours this winter:
Revlon Nail Enamel in Beach
T.B.N Salon Formula in Gilt
BYS Nail Enamel in Raspberry Chocolate
Sally Hansen Hard Nails Xtreme Wear in Celeb City
Orly Nail Lacquer in Luxe
Revlon Nail Enamel in Copper Penny

Make your nails a statement piece!
