Pop It Like It's....

A pop of colour is all you need in those dark, drab and dull days. Bright colours work well with whites and blacks, so start incorporating colourful scarfs, bags and possible a bright red jacket to your winter wardrobe.

Play around with bright makeup, bold lips, green eyeshadow and blue mascara...not all at once please!

I Just Want To Be Inspired...

I want to know what inspires you. I've always been inspired by the small things in life. Just like how it's the little things that make me laugh and cry. Whether it's fashion, art or beauty (FAB); what inspires you?

Is it the girl you walk past on the street on your way to work?

A painting you saw at an exhibition or perhaps graffiti on the wall next to your favourite coffee find?

The way a celebrity wears her makeup on the red carpet?

Or, a model wearing the latest trends to hit the high-end fashion shelves?

I want to know what gets your creative juices flowing!

Ultra FAB

Yesterday morning I was treated to a complimentary Ultraceuticals facial. The facial is called Ultrasonopheresis and is amazing! My skin felt so smooth and soft after the treatment. The Ultraceuticals team was so lovely, talking me through each product that was applied to my face, what it does and how I should use it in the future. The Ultra A Smoothing Complex, the Ultra C Firming Serum and the Ultra A Eye Cream were all worked into my skin yesterday.

I use to be a Dermalogica girl, however, I was put onto the Ultraceuticals range a year ago and haven't looked back. I did love Dermalogica, still do (they're a great brand), however, in a week of using my new ultra FAB products I noticed a difference. They're an age-defying product, rather than being there just to maintain your skin, they work to improve it and keep you looking younger. Some of my favourite products from the Ultraceuticals range are: (1) The Ultra Milk Cleanser, (2) the Even Skintone Complex, (3) the Ultra A Facial Cream, and (4) the Ultra Hydrating Gel.

So Senso...

I'm lusting over these Senso shoes for the winter season, but my wallet isn't going to like the damage I plan on doing. Which one shall I choose? This is a struggle as I feel I can't live without any of them.

I have just received a D&G watch from my parent's overseas adventure in Paris. I'm a very lucky girl to receive such a beautiful watch and will wear it proudly! It has inspired me to do a blog post on my favourite watches of the moment. Below is my new watch!

Here are some of my FAB FAV watches...

Colouring In...

I recently received a bright blue MAC eyeliner from a friend of mine and I've been obsessed with it! It's gives my makeup that extra pizaz (yes, I'm aware I just used an old-school word). So, if you've been wearing the same makeup look for quite some time now, it's now the season to brighten things up with coloured liners.

If you want to follow in these footsteps take note!

Tip 1# Don't go overboard! Yes, I'm encouraging you to add colour, but like all things in life (apart from jewelry, beauty products, clothes, shoes and handbags...did I leave anything out?), too much is not good for you.

Tip 2# Apply to either the bottom lid, or the top lid. If you've never been one to use liner a lot on your bottom lid, apply the colour pencil or liquid liner to the top lid and flick out for fun. On the other hand, if you usually wear pencil on you bottom lash line, apply the colour there.

Tip 3# Make sure the rest of your make up is looking natural and subtle. The colour is enough, so you don't want to be wearing three different colours on your face. If you're using a blue pencil, like myself, bronze cheeks and apply a nude lip!

Play around with green, blue, purple and even yellow!

Am I Nude?

Pulling off a nude lip can be tricky, you can look a little ill, but if all goes well you can look sexy and sultry like our friend, Kim Kardashian.

Tip 1# It's important that lips are well nourished. Putting lipstick on dry lips never turns out well, so make sure you put a balm on long before application.

Tip 2# Get out that natural liner I told you to purchase ages ago and line lips.

Tip 3# Apply lipstick and just for fun add a clear gloss over the top. It's a fun and flirty addition.

These are my FAB FAV nude lipsticks:
Innoxa in Peaches & Cream
Revlon Matte in Nude Attitude
MAC Satin in Myth
Giorgio Armani Silk in 55
MAC VIVA GLAM in Gaga 2

Hair Trick

Want to spice up your basics? I love mixing 'n matching my black, whites and greys, but we need to add a little life into those outfits! Head pieces are the way to do this. Adding a gorgeous head piece to your winter wardrobe is FAB. Here's some inspiration...

Play around with different materials; knit, scarves, metal, turbans and flowers (not real ones of course!).

Kiss Me...

In winter we fight the rain, wind and cold temps. I do love winter, mainly because of the fashion, but we need to make sure our lips remain supple and smooth to show off the new fuchsia and red lip colours! Here are the TLC steps to soft lips this winter:

1# Exfoliation: That's right, exfoliating isn't just for your skin! Lips need to be exfoliated (not too much), leaving lips smoother, having removed any dead cells. Sugar is a great exfoliating tool, it's not just for eating!

2# Moisturize: I'm not talking chap stick, don't jump the gun yet. Apply a moisturizing treatment like Dermalogica's Renewal Lip Complex.

3# Apply a lip balm to your lips. EVERYDAY!!! Try to stop licking your lips when they're dry, believe it or not it makes matters worse. Rather, have a lip balm in every bag you own. You can thank me later!

4# Invest in a lip liner that matches the natural colour of your lips. Applying the lip liner will smooth out any imperfections.

5# Apply a clear gloss! It's fun, flirty and makes your lips look fuller

Fash Faps...

Fash Faps show off fashion at its finest. It's not about what's on trend, rather who can work new pieces into their individual style! That's a Fash Fap!
