Lip Service...

A bold lip is very much an everyday occurrence for me, but I've had a few friends getting into the trend (I've rubbed off on them! Woo!). However, in order to rock a stand-out lip you need to know how to apply one.
Take your mind back to kindergarten when you were learning to colour within the lines (ahhh childhood memories). 

Top 5 Lip Tips:

1# Line what you're going to colour in: I suggest investing in a lip liner that matches your natural lip colour. This way you don't have to keep buying different colour liners to complement your lippie.

2# Shade it out: Grab a cotton bud and smooth your liner, almost so that you can't see it (but, I assure it's still there!)

3# Picking the right crayon: Make sure you're working with the right tools. It would be wise to use a lip brush when applying colours, such as fuchsia and red, so that you get the perfect line. It also creates less mess!

4# Don't waste it: Remember, a little goes a long way (especially bold tones), so start your lip brush in the middle of your bottom lip and then work outwards.

5# Clean it up: Okay, so know one is perfect. We all have moments when our hand gets the shakes or we are simply too busy singing away to tunes in the bathroom. Just simply grab another cotton bud and tidy it up. Don't go using your fingers because trust me, it'll end up smudging everywhere!
